Our Story
Southwest Virginia Sportsmen was founded on a simple belief: healthy wildlife begins with healthy habitat.
Our volunteers, conservation partners, local businesses, and supporters work together to improve the forests, fields, and reclaimed lands that wildlife depend on throughout Southwest Virginia. From restoring native grasslands and creating wildlife openings to supporting Virginia's elk restoration efforts and outdoor education programs, every project is driven by a commitment to leave the land better than we flourished it.
